》 it's time to say good bye.《 It was January 8th, when I sad goodbye to Jamie and her family - I still hate farewells... Neville took me to Reefteach, where I waited together with Nick until a Reefteach customer comes to pick us up and give us a lift to Durban. What we would have been doing without that customer? Please ask me something I can give an answer to...I really don't know - because there is not any useful public transport in Sodwana (and ZA in general) at all. You just have to tell everyone when you leave and ask them when and how they leave - that's all about. We made a breakfast-stop in St. Lucia, the town of the hippos. Then they dropped us at the Durban airport, where Nick and I had a coffee untill I left to catch my airplane. I flew to Nelspruit, where SesThema and Cassie fetched me and gave me a lift to Acornhoek. For dinner I enjoyed my last pup&chickenstew - it was very delictable! Nowadays I enjoy eating with hands - will definitely miss that. ...

》 exploring the underwater world at a touristic place where you feel to be at home was just AWESOME! 《 33h travelling in taxis, coaches and cars...I arrived in  beachy Sodwana and finally met my friend Jamie! As I started my vacation down here, we didn't know we'd met up - we did organize / book all rides, lifts and the flight quite spontaneos and we're both glad we made it happen! After those 33h with hardly no sleep there was no time to rest - we had to prepare supper as well as the new years party in their garden. Some friends of Jamie's family dropped by to celebrate, drink and enjoy.  Happy new year to you all! My first day in Sodwana started with an english breakfast and sunshine. Then the whole family (Jamie's parents Neville and Wendy as well as her boyfriend Jason) and I went to find the "most beautiful, secret and hidden place" around here. Literally hidden, we were driving around in the bush for two hours, following the GPS and several track...

》 enjoy. calm down. eat something. take a nap. R E L A X ! 《 Back in Acornhoek, back in silence. We did enjoy four absolutely calming days. Twice we went into the big Acornhoek Mall, we ate a lot, whatched movies, were sitting around, talked much... This side the heatwaves normally get "killed" like after three or four days - that one obviously stayed too long plus over christmas, which is rare in ZA. I got my first sunburn - but I haven't even be sitting in the sun!? how we cooled down water. love that way of simplicity ! - dished up braai on pick up. in the Acornhoek Mall with my friend Cassie. for those who love meat... Friday; The water pipes were closed. A storm sprang up. Fikile and Opido had to go to some neighbors to fetch water. Cassie and I wrapped our hair against the dust in the air and went to a store to get toast - in case the storm would damage the energy and we wouldn't be able to cook...
